SVM Blog: ‘Allies’ – Coming Soon To A Stereo Near You

Happy New Year everyone.

As we eagerly await news of dates and tours, SVM have been beavering away in the studio, working on the Depeche Mode cover letter D in our popular Facebook band alphabet game. The recording is now complete and we are putting final touches to the mix and the video for you all.

We’ve had a number of fan requests about the forthcoming album and how it is progressing.

We are pleased to say that the album is now finished and promotional copies have just arrived in the My Major Company office.

The album will be called ‘Allies’ after a new song that we finished just as the LP was about to be mastered for pressing! We felt it was too strong a song to leave off the record and it also lent itself to being title of the whole album.

The lead single from ‘Allies’ will be ‘How To Start A Revolution,’ which I am sure you will all be familiar with. This has already been getting some coverage on sports channels in the UK, especially Talk Sport who are using it for their football features on the radio.

The album and single will be scheduled for release when we have established a live plot with our agent and label, both in the UK and also in Europe. This will allow us to make the best opportunity of promoting the record – not only to audiences, but capitalising on all the local radio and press as we travel around the continent.

A very special thanks this month to Laurène Vittecoq, our hardworking super fan, who helped raise money for a French tour with Kiss Kiss Bank Bank and is now running a petition to have the band support Coldplay!
