Some Velvet Morning have lent their support to the burgeoning campaign to prevent the closure of London music landmark, The Astoria. The 2,000 capacity venue has played host to the likes of U2, Nirvana, Radiohead and even The Rolling Stones (to name but a few) over the years, and would be sorely missed by the music community were it to be torn down to make way for flats.
